IPL customers offered more Ways to Save with eScoreTM

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.— Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL), a subsidiary of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES), has worked with CLEAResult, a third-party vendor, to launch an all new way for customers to look at the way they use energy at home. eScoreTM makes it easy for homeowners to learn how to make their homes as energy-efficient as possible. With a mix of digital tools, free instant energy savers, and a free in-home energy assessment, eScore shows how customers are currently using energy and what upgrades and rebates are available to help homeowners increase their scores to a 10.

With eScore, IPL customers can:

  • Receive personalized recommendations specific to their homes. 
  • Track progress as energy efficiency improvements are made. 
  • Get advice and professional support from IPL’s team of energy experts to maximize savings.  

To enroll in this program, IPL customers can go online to schedule a free eScore assessment in which an energy expert will conduct an audit at the customer’s home. Once the audit is complete, the energy expert will provide the customer a report displaying the home’s eScore and offer personalized recommendations for actions and energy-saving home improvements. Customers can login to their online account to see updates, track progress, and improve their score.
