IPL confirms contractor fatality at Eagle Valley construction site

Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL), a subsidiary of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES),has confirmed a fatality of a contractor at the construction site of the new combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power station near Martinsville in Morgan County. No further details are available at this time.
Safety remains IPL’s top priority, and we will continue working with emergency personnel to confirm details regarding the incident.
