AES Indiana saves Buckingham Companies more than $300,000 through its energy efficiency programs

AES Indiana, a subsidiary of the AES Corporation, and Buckingham Companies, announced today the completion of an energy efficiency effort that saved the full-service real estate firm more than $334,000 in energy savings products and rebates. The project is projected to save the company more than 2.4 million kWh annually. The companies will celebrate with a check presentation on Friday, October 7, 10:00 AM.
Benefits and upgrades included comprehensive energy audits, direct installation of 5,097 no-cost energy-saving products, as well as a range of custom incentives and prescriptive rebates. Since the beginning of the collaboration, the total number of participating properties has grown from 10 to 18. CityWay is the latest property to receive upgrades and is expected to save approximately 430,000 kWh per year, which equates to approximately $60,000 annually.
