The Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) identifies a 20-year outlook on the future of energy in Central Indiana

AES Indiana asks for public input for 2025 Integrated Resource Plan

January 9, 2025

AES Indiana, a subsidiary of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES), is seeking public input into its 2025 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) process.

The first meeting will be held virtually at the end of January. It will be focused on the IRP process and give an overview of AES Indiana resources.

WHAT: AES Indiana IRP Public Advisory Meeting #1

WHEN: January 29, 2024, 10:00 AM-3:00 PM

WHERE: Virtual. Please RSVP here.

The IRP is a 20-year plan that helps define the future of energy in Central Indiana. AES Indiana submits an IRP to the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) every three years. The IRP identifies a generation portfolio that provides safe, reliable and affordable energy to our more than 530,000 customers. The plan will consider potential risks, explore multiple options, and consider key stakeholder and public input. By taking a 20-year look at its resource portfolio, AES Indiana can account for all factors to determine reasonable least-cost options for energy storage and generation.
