AES Indiana project greenspace 

Since 2006 AES Indiana has been the title sponsor of AES Indiana project greenspace, a program of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. (KIB) that help neighborhood-based organizations with expertise and resources to revitalize neighborhoods and public spaces. This effort helps create vibrant communities by increasing and beautifying vacant lots and underused areas into appealing and functional areas. AES Indiana's support of this particular program totals $320,000 and has resulted in the completion of 82 projects.

Why is project greenspace important?

• Improves the quality of neighborhoods and homes
• Increases and beautifies green spaces
• Educates people on the importance of a healthy environment
• Brings diverse groups of people together by connecting them to nature

Since 1999, AES Indiana has donated more than $1.3 million to support a variety of KIB programs.
